Retenium Accelerator AM is a liquid, non-chloride, amine-based hardening accelerator designed for use in cementitious systems (concrete and mortar). It accelerates the hydration of cement, resulting in significantly faster early strength development, reduced setting time, and improved productivity in form work turnaround. Chemically, the “AM” indicates it's based on organic amines, which help catalyze the cement hydration reactions without contributing to harmful chlorides (which can corrode steel reinforcement).
